Greetings from St. Cecilia Parish in Ashland, Massachusetts. We invite all who seek the warm embrace of solace and friendship in the Lord to join us in fellowship.

Our Church (side door) and our Family Center are both handicap accessible. All are welcome.

Important Notices


Lenten Obligations

Fasting: is required on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday for those between the ages of 18 and 60. Only one full meatless meal is allowed. Two other small, meatless meals may be taken, if needed, but should not equal a full meal. No eating between meals, but liquids including milk and juices are allowed.

Abstinence: is required on Ash Wednesday and all Fridays of Lent. It is compulsory for all over the age of 14. On these days, no meat is allowed.

The Sacrament of The Sick

The Sacrament of the Sick is available to anyone at any time.  If you wish to receive it, please call the Rectory at 508-881-1107.

Godparent and Sponsor Qualifications

Father Cornell asks that all who are being considered as Baptismal Godparents or Confirmation Sponsors please check the "Qualifications and Requirements" in the "Sacraments" section of the Website.

Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner - March 18th

Come join us for a corned beef and cabbage dinner in celebration of the feasts of St. Joseph (March 19) and St. Patrick (March 15).  This festive annual event will be held in the Family Center, starting at 6:00 PM on Saturday, March 18th.  Tickets are on sale after the Masses on the weekend of Feb 4-5, at the Rectory (Mon-Thurs, 8:30-3:30), and at the Religious Education Office in the Family Center (Sun-Wed 9:00-5:00).  Adults $10.00, Children $5.00
