Welcome to Saint Cecilia Parish

Serving the Community of Ashland, Massachusetts

Greetings from St. Cecilia Parish in Ashland, Massachusetts. We invite all who seek the warm embrace of solace and friendship in the Lord to join us in fellowship.

If you are new to St. Cecilia Parish, please consider introducing yourselves to our Pastor, Father Cornell after Mass. You may also call the office at (508) 881-1107 or submit a request here to register.  We encourage you to become active members of our Parish Family.

Our Church (side door) and our Family Center are both handicap accessible. All are welcome.

- ATTENTION:  We have received notice from several parishioners of St. Cecilia Parish that an email  that appears to be from Fr. Cornell was sent to them. These are coming from a Gmail account, which Fr. Cornell does not use. If you receive this, please delete the message. It is an attempt by malicious parties to scam you out of money. Thank you

Spiritual Read for 2019

At all Christmas Masses, St. Cecilia Parish will present each family with a copy of best selling author Matthew Kelly’s book The Biggest Lie in the History of Christianity. People are disillusioned with what the world offers. The world is in desperate need of change, and no one is in a better position to effect that change than Christians. We have an incredible opportunity to dispel the lies and cut through the confusion and false promises around us. Copies will be available for those who are away for the holidays. In early 2019, we will organize Small Discussion Groups for anyone who wishes to participate

Grand Annual Collection

St. Cecilia Parish Grand Annual Collection began on November 24/25, 2018 Every registered family should have received a mailing with information regarding this year’s Grand Annual Collection. Please call the Rectory at 508-881-1107 if you have not received one. Grand Annual envelopes are available in the Church.

Christmas Collection

As always, the Collection taken up at the Christmas Masses this year will benefit the Archdiocesan Clergy Health & Retirement Trust, which funds care for the active and retired priests of our Archdiocese. Please see this page (with a video) to learn more about how to donate and what your donation helps fund.

Our Archbishop, Cardinal O'Malley, has made statements regarding the scandals in the Church. Please CLICK HERE to see our links to them.
